This article explains the process of rolling out the recorded WhatsApp app (TM WPA) to your employee’s Android devices.
1. Locate your Organization ID and Organization Name
Sign in to your company-managed Google Play.
Click Admin Settings on the left-hand side menu.
Copy your company’s Organization ID and Organization Name and send it to your GuardREC project/account manager.
2. Provisioning the app to your company-managed Google Play
Once we have received your company’s organization ID and name, we will provide the recorded WhatsApp app (TM WPA) to your company-managed Google Play. You will be notified once we have completed this step.
3. Approve the app
It might take up to 7 days for the TM WPA app to appear in your Org ID search. In case you still can’t find it after 7 days, please contact your GuardREC project/account manager, and report the problem.
Navigate to the Shop on the left side menu.
Search for TM WPA in the Google Play search bar and select it.
You will be asked to approve permission for the app. Click Approve
You need to approve requests for future versions, so the app won’t be removed from your AppStore. Select “Keep approved when app requests new permissions”, and then click Done.
The recorded WhatsApp app (TM WPA) is now added to your company-managed Google Play store.
You can now deliver it to your users' mobile devices via your MDM system or share the download link.
